About Tanner
Tanner Sowa joined Howden Capital Markets & Advisory in September of 2021 from GC Securities, the investment banking unit within Guy Carpenter where he was most recently an Associate/AVP. There, he focused on M&A, capital raising, and the issuance of insurance-linked securities. Prior to that he was at Aspen Insurance Group, where he participated in several internships: Catastrophe Modeling Intern, Surety Underwriter Intern, and Reinsurance Underwriter Intern.
Tanner earned a Master of Science, Business Analytics from Wake Forest University School of Business and prior to that a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business Fundamentals from the University of Connecticut. He holds the following certifications: Series 79, Series 7, Series 63, and Securities Industries Essentials (SIE).
