About Juan
Juan Gutierrez joined Howden Capital Markets & Advisory where he supports operations for insurance-linked securities catastrophe bond transactions.
Prior to Howden, Juan was at JPMorgan Chase, where he focused on KYC compliance, trading restrictions, and trade review. Before that, he was at BNY Archer (formerly Archer IMS), supporting back-office operations for money managers through reconciliations and break resolution. He began his career at Bloomberg, where he served on the New Issues team responsible for the setup and review of fixed income corporate securities and contributed to the Capital Structure team.
Juan holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Economics and Finance from La Salle University. He holds the following certifications: Series 99, Securities Industries Essentials (SIE), and Certified Anti-money laundering specialist (ACAMS).
